North/Northwest Austin Market Report - August 2009 YTD

The average price of homes sold in North and Northwest Austin for August compared to last year is down 5.6% to $295,992. The number of single family home sales in this area are off 4.5% compared to this time last year. Active listings are up 6.2% from a year ago to 394 units; this represents a fairly balanced 4.7 months of inventory. This area is in the top 20 Austin MLS markets, and is in the Round Rock ISD.
