(not so) Speechless Sunday...

Friday, was one of those cold, damp, dreary days so atypical of the late autumn weather patterns here in middle Tennessee, not the early part of the season. Nevertheless, the beauty of the solace of a deserted rural road, the eerie silhouettes, and the last hurrah's of Indian summer, warmed the heart of this photographer on what most folks would call a morning not fit for man or beast ☺☺☺

I like going down roads not well travelled; you can drive at your own pace and enjoy the beauty of the area.

I ONLY wish we were having an Indian Summer....heck we barely had summer. As I glaze out this morning and see the ground covered with frost. But, the sun is shinning and that is a GOOD thing.

We were wet and cold and 'foggy' (we are 'smoky' here) until last night. Little dusting of snow on the higher levels, and now it's a crisp cold. Enjoyed the photo.

Around here right now we are having lots of thunder, lightning and torrential downspours.

Michael the weather here is more like November or December. I love this shot. looks like a misty and foggy morning.

Micheal - i've seen many mornings like this in the fall. The south is a beautiful place when we have this type of weather.
