Broker Bryant counteroffers...just for you CaliGal!

OK CaliGal, this is my meager attempt to put a smile on your face today. For those who don't know CaliGal, she is one of my Sellers and we have been working together to try and get HER HOUSE sold in Poinciana Fl. Unfortunately, we just keep getting one bad offer after another and yesterday's was no exception. I wrote about it here.

Anyway, we do things a little differently at Tutas Towne Realty so...well....just click on the video below and it will explain things further.

BB & TLW - that was a first - Broker Bryant Counter Offer - Loved it - who knew TLW was REALLY armed and dangerous - I can't get the last song out of my head - now visions of counteroffers will dance in my head - oh my!!

OK, so I guess I do have something to add to this. I have heard several folks on AR over the last few weeks complain about people being "unprofessional". I even read comments specifically about me and how I'm going to hurt my business and blah blah blah. So, I want to tell everyone that selling or buying Real Estate is a very very stressful time for Buyers and Sellers. My humor is a tool I use to help put folks at ease. Sellers are hiring me to get their properties sold AND to help them get through a very difficult time. My Sellers are my friends and I hurt when they are upset or stressed out. I take Real Estate very serious BUT I also want my customers to stay focused on what we are trying to achieve. I have found that being honest and showing my true self to my customers helps with this.

I don't put on airs. I'm not going to be a different person than I really am just because I'm a "professional". I put my britches on one leg at time just like everybody else. So if being myself is "unprofessional" then so be it. My 25 current Sellers certainly do not have a problem with it and really that's all that matters to me.

So my advice is: loosen up, have fun and help some folks with their Real Estate needs.

Oh, PUHLEEEZEEE!!!...What was that, a 410? If you're REALLY gonna counter the offer, at least use a 12 gauge, preferrably an over & under, unloading both barrels at the same time!

In this type of market all you can do sometimes, is just have fun! Thanks for the laugh; now I know to send the offers my clients don't like to Poiciana and run them through the offer destroyer.

Bryant, Did you make sure that you initialed and dated the changes? I guess you are going to have to hand deliver that counter. A faxed copy just won't have the same effect.

First of all OH MY GOSH, you guys are the team I want if I had any property to sell in that part of the country.

Secondly, I love Stephanie Edwards' suggestion. Picturing her idea is making me laugh as I am writing.

Last thing, TLW I love the way you laugh, it's contagious.

there is nothing wrong with lowballing. Prices are dropping everywhere and you guys need to stop overpricing your properties. Buyers want affordable housing, not overpriced housing that greedy sellers are selling.

Actually, I prefer my Stevens side-by-side sawed-off 12 gauge splatter gun. Great for skeet shooting......or for when you just want to "get-around" and "share the love".

ROFL We have a shotgun in the closet for special occasions. I never even thought about using it for counter offers. I learn something from you every day BB.

Ya know what.... i want to have that kind of fun with my real estate transactions. I just don't see it even being close to possible with the way things are run here in Soprano Land.... Someone could really get hurt.... if ya know what I mean.
