LA's Most Expensive Condo Listing - 2055 Avenue of the Stars #PH37B, Century City - $16,500,000

In case you're curious I thought I'd share the details from The MLS about the most expensive condo currently listed in Los Angeles.

The 6700 sq ft 3-Bed 4.5-Bath Penthouse is located in The Century (in Century City) in the same development in which Candy Spelling purchased a record-breaking $47 Million 16.500 sq ft Condo in 2008.

According to The MLS this condo is the "Master of the Universe PH in the hottest new development".

I'm not sure when The Century will be completed, but it will be interesting to see if the new owners purchased with all-cash or used mortgage finance .... stay tuned!

Stewart, that is one incredible property. I cannot even imagine the price.

Hi Stewart- So where do I sign? And maybe I could buy the one right below it too and put in a staircase to connect them - I hate feeling cramped in just 6700 sq ft!

Susan - I think that's what Candy Spelling did on the top floor ..... her condo is over 16,000 sq ft.

I don't want to live under Candy Spelling. Tori might be a fun neighbor, but her mom is downright scary!

Well I don't want to be like Candy and Robin doesn't want to live near her, so I guess that's two of us who won't be buying there.

Hi Stewart... Condos seem to cause me a lot of mortgage related issues these days... I wonder if it is the same at the $16,500,000 price point???

Stewart, That sounds like Naples where most sales at that level are cash sales. :-)

Stewart, Candy really downsized. What did she get for the Holmby Hills mansion?

Many high-end new developments in Manhattan don't allow financing contingencies.
