This wonderful museum is located near Seattle Washington, and I highly recommend it, just make sure and allow enough time. I spent 5 hours there and had to rush through the last exhibit hall. Model planes in the Boeing Flight Museum. They also have lots of information, models, postcards etc. about the Wright brothers.
This beauty is an SST. It was smaller than I thought it would be in person. Entrance is included in the museum admission price.
This section of the Flight Museum was really fixed up wonderfully. They had all sorts of interactive things like two flight simulators and recordings of old radio broadcasts that you could request be played, and other buttons for people to push. They also had a representation of a WWI trench with a German plane crashed into it with simulated flames burning and a quansat hut/movie theater that played movies about the war. The planes are in perfect condition, obviously they took great care restoring them.
This was when I was speeding through the musuem because it was closing in 5 minutes. Sorry its so big, but otherwise the planes don't look right. My camera battery was also running out because I had taken so many pictures. If you go, please allow enough time.
