If you are coming to the 2009 Convention for the National Association of Realtors next month right here in San Diego, and you have a hotel room but would like a roommate, let me know. If you don't have a room, but you want to come and think that staying with a roommate will solve your problems with trying to find a room at this late date, let me know that, too. I just received my third inquiry as to whether or not I know anyone wanting roommates. I think the first two are going to be shacking up together. Obviously we don't want the psycho spammers to know who we are and where we are, so send me a private email through the ActiveRain system and I'll try to play matchmaker here. If you live in the San Diego area and would consider hosting someone, let me know. If you have any other questions about San Diego -- tourist traps, restaurants, etc. -- let me know that, too, and I'll turn your questions into a blog post as well as answering them individually. Russel and I would like to play docent for a day, morning, afternoon, or evening, so if you'd like to do something special while you're here -- Zoo, Cabrillo National Monument, Balboa Park museums, beaches, restaurants, etc. -- and would like a couple of wacky tour guides, let us know and we'll try to put something together for as many ActiveRainers as we can. Provide us with a date and time preference if you have one.

Jim -
Great idea - thanks for stepping up and serving your fellow Realtors! i may be sending you an email.
I like the way you give the links to your previous posts - do you have a nifty trick or manually cut and paste each time?
Hi Jim, it would be great to come and meet you and Russel, but we still haven't got the sun out of our eyes from Myrtle Beach yet and we would have had to leave yesterday to get there via I- whatever.
Hey, Jim. I would love to make it to the event, but unfortunately I will not be able to. I hope that you have a great time. Thanks, Jim
Hi Jim, a post about some good restaurants would be great, like for instance where can you get the best Mexican food in San Diego, what else is there to see around Mission Church de Alcala and is it worth the time to go? There is so much to do not just at the convention but in the city and surrounding areas that you have to plan carefully!
Hey, David - To do the links, I simply copy the most recent post and then add a link at the top of the list and delete the oldest link. It's actually very easy, and it allows me to use the most recent post as a template with font color and everything.
Hey, Pat - I wouldn't want people to think that we San Diegans are not hospitable and friendly.
Hey, Al and Peggy - You do know that you can fly, right? LOL
Hey, Jim and Maria - I believe you'll be here in spirit, right?
Hey, Silvia - Russel and I will be posting lots of information between now and the convention, so keep track of everything over in the NAR 2009 San Diego Convention group.
I wouldn't miss the convention for the world. I will watch your posts daily to keep up with what's happening. I was hoping for a group of activerainers getting together so I could meet some of my new friends face to face!?
