Often we CREATE OUR PROBLEM through our thoughts.  We also continue to EXPAND OUR PROBLEMS by talking about them.  Certainly it can be healthy to get things off your chest, but shortly after its time to let go.

Most people don't realize the power of their thoughts and words.  Your thoughts and words attract many of the situations and circumstances of your life.  If things are problematic its time to look back at what you have been thinking and talking about.

People get caught up in a negative mindset.  Many people are also pessimistic.  The thinking is that if you don't think anything good will happen, at least you will not be disappointed when it does not happen.  This way of thinking creates a habit of doubt and fear which in turn keeps you stuck to stress filled mediocre results.

NO FUN AT ALL!  I would always like to enjoy whole, harmonious and complete results. GOOD results.  Can I say that everything works out perfectly the way I want?  No I can't -but I have trouble finding anything that has not worked out for the GOOD and many things work out better then expected.

Its OUR CHOICE...do we want to create more problems with our thinking? Or would we like to think and speak our way to GOOD results?

Sounds like a no-brainer, but why are there so many people that choose thoughts and speak words that attract more problems?

Chuck, I agree with you that we create alot of our own problems by focusing and talking about what is happening that is undesirable.  We give it more importance by talking it up and thus keep the problem going longer rather than move past it.

I know that each of us creates our own problems without any help from others.  I just try to minimize em.

Thanks for the reminder.  Our thoughts are often shaped by the company we keep and can often shape other's thoughts.  It helps to have a few positive people around to help keep you up and on the right track.

Chuck, I am with you on this one, for sure!  I am constantly reminding my family that life and death are in our spoken word.  Not just physical death...but the death of a dream.  Thanks for the post!

Your absolutely right Chuck! Your life resembles the way you think. It is hard to break a bad habit of always being negative, it takes a little work but only you can change your way of thinking.

It can be a hard battle some days, but when I think negative thoughts or things like I can't do this - I say CANCEL and then replace those thoughts with more inpowering ones.

Chuck - Great post! I am a strong believer that optimism in life is key to success! Who wants to be around a person who complains or is venting all the time??

Once on Oprah I saw Cheryl Richardson, an acclaimed author and life coach who said she proclaims  "the world is conspiring in my favor" on a daily basis.  I now repeat this to myself and it is very powerful.
