That looks like a fun day was had by all.

I must share with readers - The other day Debi told me she was leaving the next morning to shoot wolves.  It wasn't until the middle of the night that I realized she was talking about shooting with a camera rather than a gun:-)

Debi - I've heard about Dances with Wolves, but these pictures are in a league of their own. . .Priceless

Debi,

You could not have gotten closer to these wolfs!   I enjoyed the sequence of photos.   Who helped you take the first 3 photos?   I like the title as well!   :)

Deb,

Too bad "Dances with Wolves" was already taken by Kevin Costner. What a fantastic series of shots.

OK Debi-How did you manage the shot of yourself? They say blondes have more fun and I guess you are living proof. Glad to know you survived that wild escapade, This beats my zebra shots and a banged up car all to HELL. LOL

Hey everyone! You have NO idea what an adventure this was! Those of you who know me, know that it is my hope to promote with my photographs an awareness of nature, and both the large and small creatures that inhabit our planet. The more we know about the other creatures around us, the more apt we will be to recognize their need for our protection.

My two friends and I visited a wolf rescue about an hour southwest of my home. We were told we would be able to interact with the wolves, and to wear 'old' clothes. Ya think???? My camera and I couldn't wait to get there! The visit did not disappoint. (But my fanny is a bit sore - I was knocked down TWICE!) I will be posting more on this soon - I have many photographs to process first, but I want you to know about this special place, and the special man that has made it his life's work, so it will be along soon!

Wanda - Brave or stupid....There might be a fine line there. LOL

Bill - I most certainly DID!

Craig - next time I leave the Eau De Elk Ribs at home!

Wallace - funny you should say that - Ah, well, that's another story... ;)

Shirley - I LOVED every second of it. In that shot I was laughing - my only fear was for the diamond earring I thought I was losing! Yes, that was my ear in his mouth!

Cheron - If you ever have the opportunity - go for it!

Richard- There was little doubt that I should post this in your group 'Whacked'! Thanks for the feature - I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Myrl - you're so funny! I'm still laughing over that!

Jason- I appreciate you stopping by to comment! Thank you!

Gerry - Only if they ate me I guess! My friend Karen used my camera to take the shots of me. My husband insisted on 'proof'!

Maria - No doubt about it!

Richard - That's OK - I've got 'Rolling With Wolves' LOL

Sharon- Yeah, they say other things about blondes, too.... FEARLESS! Oh, you haven't heard that one? LOL

Sandy - Yes, so I've been told! LOL

These are some of my favorite animals as they are one of those animals that are very family oriented. They really do take care of each other and work as a community. Maybe we should learn from them and go back to the days when people would help their neighbor rather than the government forcing us to!

Hmmm....ok, I would probably pass on that experience. But I do have a dog which does the same thing. I have a series of pictures my husband took while I fell off a bridge and my brother jumped in to save me....who was taking pictures while you were "chewed" by wolves? :)

It is rare to see you on that side of the camera. I love the Wolf rescues around the area. The one outside of Divide is great but the one in Guffey is really rough and tumble.
