VA Loan Rates for the week of 10-19 Miami Florida:

  • 5 Key economic reports scheduled to be released this week that may effect VA loan rates.
  • No economic reports scheduled for Monday... take a break and enjoy yourself
  • Tuesday will be the most important day of the week with the release of the PPI report
  • 30 YR fixed rate mortgages stand at 5.4% paying no points
  • 10 YR Treasury 3.4% - Up slightly over last weeks close. This is important because when the yield is up the price is down and VA Loan rates go up and when the yield goes down the price goes up and VA Loan rates go down.
  • Lock all VA Loans scheduled to close within the next 60 days.

Mark - Thanks for listening.  Yes rates are pretty close nationwide with some pockets having a very slight difference.  Keep an ear out for more weekly rate updates and what to look for.
