How many times have you had a listing and someone asks "Why is this home so cheap?" and that is followed by "It must need a lot of work" or "this must be a bad area". How about the terms "motivated seller", "buyers' market" and the laws of supply and demand. How about foreclosures that aren't always torn to bits and short sales also? I am proud to say that I have never listed or sold "junk". I won't even bother showing a home that needs too much work, I won't be known for "junk", nor take the chance of my reputation being sullied by a "junk" home. Inexpensive, call it "cheap", yes, "junk", no. For the best listings in the Poconos and a complete search of the Pocono Mountains Multiple Listing Service, visit www.yourpoconohome.net

I detest "junk" myself.  Too much risk involved for my broker, too, so I don't show it.
