I Choose Not To Fail

choose not to fail

I choose not to fail…

… in my business, because I know I have employees that count on me and because my family’s livelihood depends on it.
… when life throws me challenges, because I know what it feels like to conquer those challenges.
… in being happy, because the alternative is not acceptable.
… as a parent, because I want my son to know he should choose "not to fail".
… as a daughter, because my father deserves to see the rewards from the values he taught me as a child.
… as a wife, because the man I chose as my husband chooses not to fail as a husband.
… as a sister, because I know the unconditional bond that comes from it.
… as a best friend, because I believe my best friend is a sister that God forgot to give me.

But…

When I do fail (because, at some point, everybody does), I choose to learn from that failure and apply that lesson towards succeeding the next time around.

Times are challenging right now. They are challenging for businesses, they are challenging for Real Estate, and they are challenging for our economy. Will you choose "not to fail" during these challenging times?

Wow Misty! I learn something new on Active Rain every day. Today you're the "new" thing for me. I've not heard of GoSmart Solutions. I'll have to wander over to your site and check it out.

Hi Misty. Excellent philosophy. I learned some sage advice from a spiritual master, i.e., rather than be against "War," be for "Peace." I thought that was interesting.

Misty, my pastor is doing a series on Belief Beyond.....one of the weeks was on Belief Beyond Failure.

If you are a part of the human race, you have failed. It is not letting that failure determine your future life, but like King David did in his great failure with Bathesheba and having her husband Uriah killed;he got up and later became Beloved King David.

Absolutely! In fact I am having an awesome year. I work a heck of a lot of hours but I refused not to make this year great after last year:)

Hi Vickie - It's nice meeting you. We have been around for awhile (since 2002) but I haven't been as active on AR lately as I would like.

I really like your post. I especially like the one about choosing to be happy. Our attitude (which we choose)affects everything around us - from work, to family and all our relationships. Some of my favorite people are those who have sufferred great difficulties and problems but chose to be happy and be upbeat anyway.
