I'm sure most of you have seen the photos. There is no more evidence needed that the world of science and technology has zoomed forward at lightening speed. This photo of the Mars crater taken by the trusty Rover probe blew me away. It also got me to thinking about how important it is to stay on top of technology in my field, the way NASA is leading the pack via Mars. All I have to do is read Angus' Blog to know that technology on our level is jumping leaps and bounds. I had to pick a technology vehicle to improve my business (my goal) after I finished my ePRO certification. And blogging is what I chose. Of course there are those who say some are already from Mars and I don't have the right chromosome to fit into that catergory -- but I'd love to go visit, wouldn't you? Yesterday I had a client past client shoot me some photos (she now lives in Charlotte NC) from her cell phone and it went directly to my email! That also blew me away....and made me glad I wasn't practicing real estate eons ago when if a client moved away and we made a connection and wanted to stay in touch, the best we could do was long-hand letters once or twice a year. Now I never have to lose touch. Active Rain is such a powerful vehicle for the sharing of information amongst us real estate types and guess what, we are all over the world and still in each other's rain puddle filled backyards. Ya Gotta Love It.
Ok - slightly off topic but - this 'Rover Fed' photo on Mars intrigued me as well. Does anyone else think it looks like a sea turtle? The photo on the left features what I think is the head of the turtle but if you look at the other photos on http://www.washingtonpost.com/ they have a panoramic of the entire formation and to me, (and I am not on halucinogens I promise) the entire shell is there too.
Maybe there really was (is?) life on Mars in the form of the gentle giant turtles still found on the Galapagos Islands. I like that fantasy anyway. Off to do a Saturday Open House so you all have a great day! Peace Out - 3C
