I'm just wondering how many agents feel like I do when asked by lenders to give them business. For instance: I know so many different loan officers and everyone is constantly asking for me to send my clients to them. First of all I allow my clients to choose who they want to represent them. Second, if they don't have a lender then I will give the name of three lenders I frequent and also suggest they talk to their bank where they have their personal accounts.
The funny thing is how the lenders just continue to harp about sending them my business. I don't choose. My buyers do. And lenders remember the old saying goes I scratch your back you scratch mine is true. Don't ask me for testimonials and referrals if you don't pay it forward.
I'm not disappointed, I was just contacted my someone who wanted a testimonial and yes she does a great job but who are you giving your business to? My testimonial is when i refer clients to her.
