ORLANDO, Fla. --- Brevard County is leading the Central Florida region in the absorption of million-dollar homes, according to an analysis by Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty in Orlando (www.StirlingSIR.com).

Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty, said Brevard County posted 25 sales of residential properties valued at $1 million or more from Jan. 1 through Sept. 30.

Stirling Sotheby’s Coastal Properties Division employs nine luxury homes specialists in the Brevard area, said Soderstrom, and the region reported 156 million-dollar homes listed for sale as of Sept. 30.

“The luxury homes market in Brevard County is rebounding faster than the rest of Central Florida,” Soderstrom said.

“At the current sales pace, Brevard has a 56-month supply of luxury homes priced at $1 million or more and that’s well below the level in Orange, Seminole, Lake, and Osceola Counties,” he said.
