The World's Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Second Self Virtual Assistance

A friend of mine just emailed the following recipe to me. I haven't tried it yet but apparently you can create a chocolate cake for one in about five minutes.

Sounds like a dream come true for chocoholics! If you give this a try, let me know if you liked it or recommend it.

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKEWorld's Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake

4 tablespoons flour

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 egg 3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

A small splash of vanilla extract

1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Steve and I just ate our emergency stash of chocolate cake - carefuly wrapped and stored in the freezer.  I'll have to send this to my sisters - chocolate deperados if ever there were.

Oh boy! I have a microwave chocolate polenta, but no cake. I am going to try it (cutting the sugar since I like dark chocolate) :)

Good for you, Shoshana!  I'll give your polenta a try.  It sounds a little odd but can't be any odder (is that a word) than The World's Most Dangerous Cake.

Pam--I have had your e-mail notice about this post for week or so.  Now I see why!  It look easy, but it is probably good that I didn't see it before I went grocery shopping.  If I had the ingredients I would be making it now.  Thanks.  I will bookmark, too.

Well good, Pam.  Please leave us a note telling us how good it is.  Then I will have to make an extra trip to the grocery store.
