My owner is a Realtor with Century 21 Award in San Diego. There was a top-floor, ocean- and golf course-view condominium in Mission Valley that came on the market a couple of months ago.

My Buyers fell in love with it but told me, "We want to look around some more" even though it was exactly what they told me they were looking for, and the price was right -- more than right actually.

Mission Valley condo viewUnfortunately, top floor condominiums with ocean- and golf course-views in Mission Valley that are priced right -- or wrong! -- don't stay on the market for any length of time, and this one didn't either.

Late that night I noticed that the MLS had been changed from ACTIVE to PENDING. Ooops. Now I had to send that heart-wrenching email to my Clients telling them. They were so heart-broken that they quit looking for a new home.

Remember that I told you these top-floor condominiums with ocean- and golf-course-views in Mission Valley don't come along very often.

The unit they were looking at has fallen out of escrow and is back on the market. I guess you know that I already sent my Clients an email.....

AND GOT A POSITIVE REPONSE!

Good story and so true.  I feel like a broken record sometimes telling my clients that good properties move fast.  They don't seem to really listen, or they think it's just "sales person" talk.  Then it happens to them.  I feel like some buyers have to learn the hard way.

They are fortunate that they have another chance!  I hope the entire process goes smoothly for you.

Jim,

How lucky for them! Great properties, no matter how they're priced, always sell quickly. Hopefully they get their dream condo!

Man, I hate when that happens! Sometimes you just have to let clients find out the hard way that you know what you're talking about.

I hope you get the condo under contract ASAP, Jim!

Cheers,

Robin

Hi Jim~  I love it that it came back on the market though, and that your clients have a second chance!  How awesome with that be to have a golf and ocean view.  That would be ideal set up for my husband and I!

Hey, Douglas - That "real estate sales talk" is sometimes difficult to overcome.

Hey, Irene - Thanks. We're making some progress right now.

Hey, Carra - I've seen even some bad properties priced too high go quickly lately. The investors are out in force, but I'm not sure what they are seeing that no one else is seeing in some of these properties.

Hey, Robin - We're making progress. We might actually be in escrow in a couple of days here. It's difficult working with buyers several time zones away.

Hey, Susanne - Yes, that cat is mine. That's Zoey the Cool Cat. She's a rescue kitty from the El Cajon Animal Shelter. She's been with us for just over two years now.

Hey, Vickie - If you need a vacation property, just let me know.... LOL
