ThatSo, I've commited myself to blogging and decided to share information about me - not just Properties I am marketing, here's 5 things about Carter Ritchie.  I'd love to hear a little about you too. This is my third day of actualy utilizing Activerain, so I thought I'd try in earnest to share a bit about me.  As you can see, I'm an open book.  Anyway, below is 5 more things about Carter Ritchie.  I'd love to hear a little about you too.

6) I never finished College. Between partying, and a focus on starting and growing businesses, College never got finished. The last time I checked I was a Junior status. Unfortunately, I'm just not too motivated to get that degree.  However VCU has a Real Estate Degree. I've been giving it some thought. You never know.

What I should have been doing.                     That may have been a picture of me.  I don't remember.

7) I drive a minvan, pickup truck, or a jeep. None of them are fancy, but they all are good at serving their purposes. I doubt you'll ever see me in a fancy car. It's just not who I am.

                                                     The jeep and the passengers.

8) I am a foodie. Great food is a passion, whether it be picking Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs, eating hearty German meals, or coastal Italian.  The way I can describe most trips across the world is by the amazing cuisine we've sampled.

                                         Compliments of Awful Arthur's OBX

9) I love the women in my life. My wife Lynley has put up with me since 1999 and is certainly an Angel. I can be difficult to deal with and am blessed to have her.  She is the love of my life.  She is very patient and handles so many of the areas that my Type A personality does not do well with.  I worry about my sister because she is a mirror of me in many ways. She's extremely passionate, judgemental, strong willed, overly hard working, overly sensitive, and hurt by injustice. Kat is one of my best friends, but when we fight it get's nasty.  My mother- Even at 6 foot 5 and 300lbs, I am truly a moma's boy. She is the world to me. Every success I have, she has been there to help and support me. She puts her kids above everything.

                                                            The most patient Mrs. Ritchie

10) I'm reminiscent. My days at Fork Union Military Academy comes to mind on a daily basis as do my school days in Charlottesville.  As a matter of fact, I bought a second home just a short drive from both areas.  Yep, the past and history means a lot to me.  The faster time flies by, the more I tend to embrace the past.

I never likes the parades for the years I was at Fork Union Military Academy, But I'd love to join them now.

I'll be sharing another list of 5 things about Carter Ritchie tomorrow.  I hope you enjoyed learning a bit about me.I'd love to hear a little about you too. Have a great evening.

What a great insight into YOU.  What happened to things 1 through 5?

OK here is me:

1.  I also drive a Jeep (for clients) a 96 F150 (Because I love her) and a Bike for fun.  I could win the lottery tomorrow and wouldn't change cars.

2.  I am not a foodie. I will eat anything that I can catch.

3. I have a three year old son who is convinced that he is Captain America.....

@Janet-  Great to meet you!  I look forward to chatting on here with you.

@Epcon Communities-  No problem at all.  I'm an open book.

@Loreena-  Thank's for the insight.  I'm hoping to continue to develop communication skills, while getting to know others on here.  What a great community!

@Heather-  Thank you.  I don't think people should share any more than they are comfortable with.  My wife certainly wouldn't.  I guess openness is part of my personality.

@Missy- It's funny.  I'm used to seeing you on Facebook.  Good to see you on here!  Fork Union is a great school.

@Kathleen-  Here's the link for my first 5:

My F150 is an 89 and I love her too!  My jeep is my real baby, though.  I take her on the beach and through the woods.  Don't misunderstand me on food.  I have a WIDE palet, but I've definitely been spoiled over the years.  As a hunter and fisherman, I'm with you on the eating what I catch.  Your son sounds awesome.  You never know.  Maybe he is Captain America.  :)

Carter- good learning more about you.  It's scary how much you and my husband would get along.  As for food, I recently visited my hometown (Houston) and suffice it to say we ate our way through Houston.  You are in the perfect state for someone who loves and appreciates history.  One of the things we loved about living in the area was all of the civil war sites and other historic places to visit.  We never missed the parades in downtown Leesburg either.  (hokey as they were, we loved them.)

Can't wait for the next blog.

@Kathy- Virginia really does have amazing history and we love it.  The town that our lakehouse is in (Cartersville) has hometown parades and celebrations every Summer.  It is the lost "Mayberry by the lake."  I subscribed to your Blog and am enjoying reading it.  Thank you for your support.  As a newbie, ot's much appreciated!

@Cheryl-  We indeed are on FB as well.   Nice name you have there!
