Great before and after story Liz.
Make sure when you're in NC you stop by the Raleigh area to say hello!
Liz, what a nice post. Definitely AR has had an effect on our lives. It was definitely great to finally meet my dear friend, whom without, I would have had a much harder time, learning my way around AR. :)
I'm looking forward to your next trip (unless I take one there first). :)
Craig - North Carolina is definitely at the top of my list :-)
Sylvie - you so needto get your butt down here! :-) It was wonderful meeting you - but then I knew I knew you already :-) Too bad I couldn't add any pics of us! :-)
Liz, What a wonderful collection of pictures. New York should definitely be a stop on your list, I would love to meet you in person! And you'd LOVE it here...guaranteed!
You're such a name-dropper! =P *Now why didn't I think to kiss a few butts in my entry?* LOL! j/k Well done =)
Liz-what a great collage of photos. Where else could you have met so many people from so many places and "meet up" every day?
Actually Lisa its the other way around! :-) I'm guaranteed not to win anything - because then it would look as if I was and they did! lol..........its so truly only about loving meeting them and wanting to acknowledge them! If I'd met you you'd be front and centre! Besides I've never met Sally so she's not in there :-)))))
Liz - in 18 short months (has it really only been 18 months) you've gone from a Newbie taking tiny baby steps here in the rain to a prolific blogger who has become an inspiration and mentor to many
as they say you've come a long way baby ...
Wow, you have met that many AR members??? Amazing. And to think you practically passed by my front door this summer. Maybe next time.
Who knew Jon was shy??? Isn't that Craig guy shy too lol?
Hi Liz...Thanks for the mention, it was fun at Rain Camp.
Cheers, no points for me left today already, but I wanted to say hi!
PS: You should stand up, so we can see you better in a photo :O))
hi back to you Fred! ;-0 jenny - darn that miss! and craig is so not shy like ya know at least not on here!
kathy - thanks so much for the kind words - you gave me confidence when i had none - thank you!!!
I have to agree, the people that I have met here IRL have changed my life...of course I learn a lot in all the posts. That goes without saying but the friendships are why I stay and others go.....
Liz,
That is a great post and yes one of my best friends now is someone I met here on ActiveRain. Overall I love the internet....it connects me in so many ways to so many great people.
Liz, it has been a fun journey for YOU and for all of us for that matter. I am so proud of you with your travels that you have got to meet so many of the REAL people out there. My pleasure like Steve Shatsky and others to meet you as well. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the real world another time too!! Great post. You put so much great work into your writing!!!
Gary - when i have the best to learn from its hard not to be inspired! Thank you friend! you need to come out this way !

Liz - Around the country(ies) trip sounds cool. What a way to go, one rainer to the next to the next. Fun.
List and Sell (I vote for a year long vacation) Gary @ RentonHomeFinder.com
Well Gary I don't think I'd base my route solely on that but I would incorporate :-)
