Indiana high school football sectionals kick off this Friday night!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL????

Here is the schedule for the Fort Wayne area teams:

 

CLASS 5 A SECTIONAL 3, Friday 10/23/09

Fort Wayne North Side (2-7) hosts Huntington North (6-3)

Fort Wayne Snider (7-2) hosts Kokomo (9-0)

Fort Wayne Carroll (2-7) hosts Homestead (8-1)

Fort Wayne Northrop (0-9) hosts Warsaw High school (5-4)

Game to watch:  Snider/Kokomo.  My pick:  Snider runs the ball all over Kokomo and wins 27-14

 

CLASS 4A SECTION 11

East Noble (6-3) hosts Wawasee (2-7)

Fort Wayne Elmhurst (1-8) hosts Columbia City (2-7)

Angola (5-4) hosts Northridge (5-4)

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (9-0) hosts Dekalb (2-7)

Team to watch:  Bishop Dwenger.  I predict Dwenger to end their season at the state championship

 

CLASS 4A SECTIONAL 12

New Haven (4-5) hosts Jay County (2-7)

Marion (5-4) hosts Fort Wayne Wayne (5-4)

Delta (9-0) hosts Fort Wayne South Side (8-1)

Muncie South Side (5-4) hosts Muncie Central (3-6)

Game to watch:  Delta pass game v. South Side's speed.  My pick: SOUTH SIDE 31-17

 

CLASS 3A SECTIONAL 19

Fort Wayne Harting (5-4) hosts Norwell (8-1)

Leo (8-1) hosts Eastbrook (9-0)

Fort Wayne Concordia (4-5) hosts Heritage (6-3)

Bellmont (6-3) hosts Blackford (3-6)

Game to watch:  Eastbrook and their defense and running v. Leo's offense.  My pick:  EASTBROOK 35-10

 

CLASS 2A SECTIONAL 27

Wabash (1-8) hosts Madison-Grant (7-2)

Oak Hill (4-5) hosts Winchester Community (7-2)

Eastern (4-5) hosts Bluffton (1-8)

Manchester High School (8-1)  hosts Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (4-5)

Game to watch:  Manchester and Bishop Luers.  Manchester is where I graduated high school so I pick them to win not only Friday night but all the way to the championships in Indianapolis.  GO SQUIRES!!!

Snider's having a down year, but I expect them to get past Kokomo...probably not gonna get past Homestead if they have to face them in the regional finals though...good luck with your squares...or was it squires
