Seems not to many buyers know we can receive a commission off them buying a house outside of our market. This month alone I have received 5 referral checks totaling over $5000. Though its not much its still something, I also look over everything for them and try to provide a insight from someone they know and trust. I work hard on the front end to find a good agent who specializes in what their looking for. I f anyone needs a good agent in Corpus Christi, Tx let me know. Also if anyone else has any good ideas or tips they use when selecting an agent to refer a buyer or seller over, please share. Thanks and Good Luck!
Sounds like you are a full service real estate agent who helps their clients by going the extra mile to make sure they find a home whereever they go. Good job and good luck in the new year! By the way... if you know anyone heading to San Diego... I love referrals! :-)
I make a nice income on referrals. I always try to match the client with the best agent for them.
Thanks Susan, I will definitely add you to my referral list. We have a lot of military folks going that way. Terry, I agree matching a client and Realtor is sometimes a tricky situation, we try our best and never intentionally put them with a underachieving or lazy Realtor. Good luck to you both in the future!
Referrals are another great income and the service you provide is especially valuable when moving to a new area.
