I wanted to make sure you were aware of the high honors two of my Cherry Creek Mortgage Leaders were recently awarded by the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (CMLA).
Jeff May received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. This recognizes Jeff as the ind
ependent small-business person of the year for his dedication and service to the CMLA and the industry, and for operating an innovative and well-respected company. It's no secret that Jeff has done a tremendous job leading our company through the difficult times our industry has faced. His vision for the future and desire to build a great company has blessed all of us. Bravo Jeff!
In addition, Stacey Harding won the prestigious Aksel Nielsen Award given for his service to the industry and for his outstanding performance and commitment to the CMLA. It's a well deserved honor. Over the past several years, Stacey has made a meaningful contribution within the industry by advocating on our behalf wit
h Congress, our state legislators, and with key regulators. He served on the CMLA board for several years and completed his term as the association's chairman in 2007. He remains an active and involved former chairman.
Please join me in congratulating these two men on their success!
