How about a draft system for congress?

Just like jury duty when your numbers up you serve for 4 years and the government pays you a salary equal to what you reported on the prior year's taxes with a minimum. Your job is guaranteed and you're done af...ter 4 years so you don't have much time to be corrupted. Just a thought.

Not a bad proposal, although I was thinking more alongs the lines of a Mulligan.  Let's clear them all out and try again.

Both proposals are worthy of note.  I will even be generous and allow that two terms may b allowed to give them time to transition in new members and pass on pertinent  information.  When you start a new field it does take time to learn the ropes.  However, I think a few months is sufficient to get caught up to speed.  Beyond that, you are likely not the right person for that position.

How is is possible that we have never enacted term limits on congress?? OH RIGHT!  It is because THEY get to decide that.  Silly me...
