Did You Know If You Kiss At A Manning, SC Cow It Will Come See What The Heck You Are Doing? (LOL) Being a New Yorker, we tend to treat farm animals like puppies. We kiss and coo and tell them how cute they are because they are (LOL).

Kissing and cooing also works for Salters, SC horses but you have to be very careful how you approach them and stand very, very still... :-)

On a casual family drive one Saturday when I was a teenager, us city folk came across a farm and saw a cow that looked and sounded like it was in SERIOUS distress.  Being city folk, we naturally got concerned and decided we would be remiss to not let the farmer know that his cow was having some difficulty.  The farmer smiled at the silly city folk and gently explained that the cow was not hurt or in any trouble.  She was simply giving birth.  Didn't we feel naive!

Okay that's it... Sunday I'm posting a picture of Dan the Jackass.  Love the cow photos.  I live the dairy capital of Georgia BTW.

Do you actually have to kiss the cow?  Would not be fair after it comes all the way over for one.

OK, no mad cow disease jokes. What's not to love about a cow? I knew even you, a citified girl, would eventually post photos of cows. It is inevitable you know. Just ask Pat Kennedy.

Cows rule, thank you for the picture! Now I know you rock. :D Pass the google milk please.

That white cow sure does look interested in you!  You need to be careful...I once grabbed onto a wire fence while looking at some cows and it was an electric fence.  It's not a pleasant experience.

C,

How cute are those cows! I'm a big fan of farm animals too. I guess I didn't see enough of them as a kid. I coo and talk at/to them every time I find myself near some. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Your friend in the Cosmic Cow Pie.

"C" -- I know exactly where you took this photo of the cows in Manning - I have often thought of stopping to take a photo for Pat Kennedy.

Mama Liz, you should. They're gorgeous. Those quiet puppies were grazing right off of US521. I couldn't resist pulling over and throwing kisses at the moo moos. They were so serene and curious. It made me think of the term unflappable. Hmm... I would love to be as unflappable as a cow (LOL). ;-)
