On a casual family drive one Saturday when I was a teenager, us city folk came across a farm and saw a cow that looked and sounded like it was in SERIOUS distress. Being city folk, we naturally got concerned and decided we would be remiss to not let the farmer know that his cow was having some difficulty. The farmer smiled at the silly city folk and gently explained that the cow was not hurt or in any trouble. She was simply giving birth. Didn't we feel naive!
