Virtual REBarCamp - Learn from the Comfort of Your Home or Office! It's FREE!

I was excited to see that the very first virtual Real Estate Barcamp is being held on November 17th. They are anticipating over 1000 agents to attend from across the United States (there are already 272 registered attendees as of this writing). Having attended a live version in Houston last year, I can attest to the value of this event.

They will have some terrific sessions and teachers, from the list I saw earlier today. There are still openings if you're interested in hosting your own session. There have enough virtual "room" for 27 total.

Current session topics include:

Flickr for Real Estate
Developing Your Brand
Online Advertising Secrets
Facebook for Real Estate
WordPress Training
Daily Goal Tracking
Starting a Real Estate Blog
...and more.

Following the virtual event, there will be many "in real life" meetups around the country. I am considering hosting one of these myself, depending on the interest level here in Austin.

Hey, thanks for posting this. I just signed up. Would probably never have seen it otherwise.

I hate that I have to miss this, but I have a date with a Deer with some bone on it's head!

I heard about this and think its great! I'm also very excited that I am going to attend the event in Raleigh in early November. I'm looking forward to meeting some AR friends in person finally.

I've read positive comments on Active Rain from people who have attended these RE Barcamps in person. I was excited to see it offered on line. I just signed up. Thanks for making it available this way.

This Real Estate Barcamp is going to be great and knowledgeable. The topics included in current session of discussion are too good and worth to listen about it from experts.

Crouch - I should probably try to do everything I can to make sure I can attend. I love the idea. Without the traveling, it gives me a much greater chance of not getting lost:)

I signed up to this as soon as I read the post. I think I got lucky to stumble across it. I was actually looking up something else, which directed me back to AR, and there it was the 2nd posted featured.

Hi Jason I posted a reminder also and directed them to this blog. I recently attended the Pittsburgh Rebar camp and I am really looking forward to this one. What a great opportunity to learn all this stuff in one place and on a virual Rebar..great stuff.
