Provincetown MA  --  The Journey Continues by NY Feng Shui Consultants

Walking down Commercial Street in Provincetown is an adventure.  We stopped in some stores and spoke to many people there, almost all of which asked where we were from and what we did.  We didn't realize that Feng Shui in Provincetown is SO popular it rivals New YorkSome business owners asked for cards while others even asked if we had time to do Feng Shui Consultations while we were visiting.

Unfortunately, we didn't.  We were on our way to Sal's Restaurant.  If you missed a former part of this story (or would like to see more pictures of Provincetown, here's the post:  Feng Shui Consultants in Provincetown & Cape Cod

Finally we arrived and stood outside for a moment.  I haven't visited Provincetown in 10 years and memories came flooding back.  This is the Dock behind Sal's is where my brother lived for a time; right on a Dock in a little Cottage. I remember visiting him there and thinking how much FUN that must be!

We saw this portrait of Jack, the owner of Sal's and Peter's very good friend.  It was so sad to think that he had passed as well.  Sometimes it seems to me that the very best people leave this Earth far too soon.

As soon as you enter Sal's Restaurant is where you'll find my brother pictureAlmost as if he were there greeting you   I felt it was such an HONOR to be acknowledged that way.  We didn't stay long, it was time to head back to our room.  We were eating at Café Edwige tomorrow morning and had thought of taking a tour the following day.  We THOUGHT the adventures for the day were done.

Arriving back in Truro at our lovely Motel (Where we stayed in Room #9 : ) we had noticed a Butterfly Bush outside our door.  When we pulled up, I noticed there were no Butterflies.  One came from just behind me and landed on the Bush-so close I could touch it.  In fact, I did.

Oprah asks at times "What do you know for SURE?"  It's always a difficult question for me to answer.  I know that Feng Shui WORKS. If I had any doubts before this trip which started with a Rainbow and ended with this Butterfly, I also know those that our love ones  are never far.

Hi Carole... thie signs are everywhere and it's amazing how many people do not see them.  One thing is for sure, the love you have for your brother comes through strongly.  I am certain that he feels the energy of that love.

hi Carole,

Oh my, you had so many signs revolving around this trip and the fact that the butterfly let you touch it is absolutely amazing as they are usually so skittish....

Sometimes I think we are unable to notice signs because we are too busy with our lives and perhaps shut ourselves down a bit with worry, however once we relieve that stress we seem to become open to the signs again.... interpreting them is always another matter.

Your journey provincetown is so inspirational and reminds us to pay attention to those signs.  If you and your daughter had not embarked on this trip you would not have had those wonderful memories and moments remembering your brother and the good times.  I think the butterfly had a special message for you.  What an incredible story.

I agree with the comments above.  What a beautiful story.  I too think the special messages are there for us, if we look for them :)

What a beautiful tribute to your Brother.  I'm sure he was smiling down at you and will continue to do so!

Carole - what a beautiful place! I love Massachusetts. I had the opportunity to visit Boston twice and absolutely loved it.  Thanks for sharing your journey and the butterfly photos - what a great sign! Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Hi Carole, It sounds like your trip is a magical journey, full of adventure. It's true that we do lose the best ones first. I think it's a reminder to the rest of us... to live life to the fullest, as you don't know when your last day will be.  And, I do believe that there are signs all around us, but we have to be aware enough to see them.  Funny, you mentioned the rainbow at the beginning of your trip.  Yesterday, while out walking the dog, it was beginning to sprinkle and there was the most beautiful rainbow across the whole sky. It was so close that I wondered if I followed it, I would find the little leprechaun with the pot of gold.

Everytime I see that Italian word, "Ristorante" I'm reminded of the the Sophia Loren, Walter Mathau, Jack Lemon movie, "Grumpy Old Men."  Such a hilarious movie that was:-)

Hi Carole... Looks like I need to pan a trip to Provincetown.  I 've always wanted to go, but still never even been to MA.  Love the quaint Italian restorante! Did anyone say spadini?!

You and I know, there are no coincidences in the world, only confirmations...sounds like you had a wonderful, confirming trip, and that it left you feeling peace-full!

Carole, Great story and a equally great reminder to stop and pay attention to what is around you.  You were able to touch a butterfly because you did!

Debbie, It was wonderful...with many unexpected things.  Had I known, I probably would have gone sooner.

Kate, It was a delight.  We're glad we got the sign to go or we would have missed so much.

Steve, I sure hope so, I do miss him very much.  He must feel something because he sends so many signs!

Jo, Because of the timing, these were easy to understand.  Sometimes they are difficult but in this case the signs pushed me ahead and that's where I needed to go.

Joan, I think the butterfly had a special message as well...I just wasn't quite sure what it was at the time.

Elizabeth, Thank you....I have always believed that our loved ones are never really far and this confirmed it for me.

Cynthia, We did have a fabulous time.  Right now I'm enjoying the memories and gifts from the trip.

Bill, I loved it!  Who would have thought that?  It gave us something to think about.

Kevin & Monica, I know Boston well and it's SUCH a fun city!  I used to get there once a year and will plan something in the Spring.

Sandy, What a beautiful story....you just may have found that pot of gold.  Or will find it in the not too distant future.  This trip and everything that happened in it made some things very clear and it was magical for both of us.  I'm sure you don't miss the signs we get either.

Myrl, I saw that movie and enjoyed it too!  I didn't make the association but should have thought of it.

Colleen, Massachusetts is a wonderful state.  If you like Cities, Boston is one of my favorite but there is no place like Provincetown anywhere.

Cheryl, It sure did.  How are you FEELING??  I hope you are feeling MUCH better!

Susan, I wonder when I was young what I missed.  I guess it doesn't matter, I don't miss these signs anymore.

Gabriela, Cheryl is one very wise lady.  Goodness, she also knows Feng Shui as do you!
