Wordless (really a little bit wordy) Wednesday

Cats have it totally figured out, at least house cats do.  They know how to relax - completely relax.

And when they have to, they can go from total relaxation to totally alert in a split second.

Pat - yeah, domestic cats have a pretty good life. And they take advantage of it at every opportunity. My wish is to be reincarnated at a domestic house cat in a great home. :)

If you gave me the opportunity to cuddle up in all that down, I'd figure out the art of relaxation as well.  Great Shot.

Katerina, Mr. Snowball and Ms. Mum will be totally honored to be on your Mac!  And don't you love your Mac?

Debbie, the blue eyed cat is amazing.  The green eyed kitty purrs more!

Joan, Mr. Carley is a big old fur ball!

Carol, yeah.

Steve, they don't both wind up on the bed at the same time all that often.  Great photo op.

Norma, these guys have it down.

Marchel, the blue eyed cat (Snowball) is the son, and the green eyed cat is his mother.  A colleague rescued Ms. Mum from a listing that had some crack using squatters, and when they came with the police to secure the place, they hard a very loud meow as they were putting on the padlocks.  Turned out to be preggers.  And my colleague gave her to me as a birthday present.

I am afraid that our cats know where to find a warm bed in the cold weather. Great to wake up with something burrowing under the covers.

Patricia -- I don't think I have ever known anyone who had all white kittens with blue eyes.  Those two are adorable! If it weren't for their pink ears, they would be totally camoflauged in the first photo.

That would make a great puzzle photo, Patricia.  It's like one of those puzzles with 1000 pieces that are all filled with pictures of a big batch of M&Ms.  Love it!

Pat,

Looks like it could be called a "study in white" or some such thing - very monochromatic. :)

Pat..beautiful cats.  Incredible eyes.  You are so right about how they can go from total relaxation to totally alert in a second.  How do they do that?
