When you get a listing, some people would think your work is done, but in so many ways it has just begun. Of course you will enter it into the MLS system, and if you are a member of more than one you may have to enter it a couple of times. Lowes has a free contact system for Realtors, Your company may have a website also, You need to go onto Realtor.com to enhance your listing, and some of the news papers will allow you to enter one time free ad. So if you are lucky enough to get a listing, your work has just begun....

Yes it has! I just taught this today to the new realtors coming into our local board "communication" is key and you said it right if you are lucky enough to get the listing the real work starts when your selling it...if you are lucky OR priced to sell? Thanks for the post.

Listing a property for sale is just the beginning. It truly is hard work, perseverance, communication with your seller, marketing, etc etc etc. A little luck doesn't hurt though.
