Just in time for a burst of '90s nostalgia to bring us into the weekend, the "Party of Five" house at 2311 Broadway has hit the market at $7,280,000. Those Salinger kids had no idea the nest egg they were sitting on! The house has 7 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a "banquet sized" dining room, a family room with cathedral ceilings, four-car parking, and even a room for baby Owen. Nice job with the attic too. Seriously, why do we know so much about this show?

The Humble Parking Garage: They don't do much besides hold...
October 21st, 2009
They don't do much besides hold cars, so it's kind of impressive when parking garages inspire admiration, or even a certain kind of infatuation. It happened several weeks ago in Mission Bay with one parking garage, even if the design was ripped from a famous Spanish building. Anyway, Metropolis POV has a pretty rad gallery of the most noteworthy non-noteworthy buildings ever. [Metropolis POV]

Rendering Update: SoMa's 1415 Mission Gets a New Chassis
October 21st, 2009

Last week Curbed followed up on 1415 Mission, a creamy yellow upscale development set for the southwest corner of Mission and 10th. It turns out the project, by R&K Investments, has gone through a good amount of reconfiguration, not least of all to its architecture. The new design is pictured above: the building's been chopped down to 14 stories (from 16), and has 117 units. There'll be 46 self-park spaces, 101 valet spaces, plus one car-share space, and off the lobby, there'll be a storage room for 42 bikes.
UPDATE: The architect is indeed still Heller Manus.
