Good nutrition and exercise also keep us young and energetic.

The best thing about a good vegetarian diet is that you can eat all day long and not be concerned about calories.

Works for me.

Great suggestions Janice.  It's been a few years since I have had the flu.  However, last year I had a pretty bad cold for a few days.  I was amazed at how little relief I got from the over the counter remedies, while receiving GREAT relief from a pot of chicken soup!

Myrl, what a testimony! Yes, there are so many healing properties is those good ol' cures. Hope you feel better soon. (P.S. Zinc is good too, found in oysters, crab, lobster, beans, and nuts.)

Lenn, that only works if you're not a junk food vegetarian like me!

Janice, great post.  It's very important to eat high quality food to keep our bodies happy.  I love homemade soup.  Sweet potato raviolo sounds fabulous.

Is it lunch time yet? : )

When I'm starting to feel back, I head to the chicken soup.

Good luck and success.
