Jazz at the Village concert series Sunday October 25, 2009 with U.S.C. Carolina Alive Vocal Jazz Ensemble and U.S.C. Saxophone Quartet at the Villages at Sandhills town common area near the fountains. If you havent been there go early a wonder around some. The complex itself is over 300 acres in size. When the development of Village at Sandhill is fully complete, the entire complex will feature a complementary mix of retail, residential, recreational, hospitality, sports, commercial office, and perhaps meical office venues in one grand lifestyle campus.
Boo at the ZOO October 23 - 30 @ 6:00-9:00pm Put on your cutest costume and head over to Riverbanks Zoo and Garden for the annual Halloween spook-tacular, Boo at the Zoo. The family-friendly Halloween event runs from 6 to 9pm each evening. Children 12 and under are invited to wear
costumes for a spook-fest complete with Frankenstein's Foam Zone, an eeky freaky

Lexington's Haunted History Tour Thursday October 22,2009 7-9PM at the Lexington County Museum. Specters and ghosts will take over during the 3rd annual “Haunted History”
Halloween program. This event will feature ghoulish guides who lead visitors on
a spooky journey of the museum property and tell ghostly stories, including
strange and unusual events in Lexington County's antebellum and Civil War

Mesozoic Dinosaurs Friday, Oct 23 10:00a to 5:00p at South Carolina State Museum, Columbia, SC Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Allosaurus and other prehistoric monsters come roaring to life in this hands-on learning adventure. Featuring 12 robotic dinosaurs and a full-size T-rex skull, this exhibit explores how these awesome creatures lived and died. Activities include digging for “fossils,” “design a dino” and more.
