My pet is a Mountain Cur. She (Tiger) was rescued from the streets many years ago. Older and slower, just like me, but the best dog I have ever had.

We have a small cocker spaniel that we rescued as a puppy while we were in Mexico. There they are called "rateros" and people buy them to hunt the mice/rats in their homes. Maya Laxson She is a delight and answers to both English and Spanish!

Scott - Here are my three "fur babies" Sadie (F/Corgi mix), Joie (M/Springer Spaniel mix) and Dawson (M/Goldie) and all are rescued babies.

As a long time dog mama (I've lost count of how many I've had/fostered), they're all special to me. I couldn't imagine life without my "fur babies" (no children of my own).

This is Lucy. She was supposed to be mine. My parents took me on a mystery ride for Christmas. Turned out we were going to Ragdoll breeders. Lucy as a kitten was my present. I told my parents I was too busy in real estate to socialize a kitten so they took her. Then they fell in love. Now they have two Ragdolls.
