So you dont use twitter, awesome!  Atleast it is for your competition.  You see, 2 little companies called BING and GOOGLE announced today that Tweets (Those are the messages that are written in 140 characters or less for the twitter impaired) will now be indexed and listed in their search results. What does that mean to you?  Oh, Nothing unless you want to let the whole world know that you just listed a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, home with 3491 Square Feet in Germann Country Estates in Chandler, Arizona 85286.  Why did I write it like that?  Because ALL of those words could soon be searchable on BING and GOOGLE from your competitions Tweets.  If you are not using social media, you are at a severe disadvantage.

I know some of you may be threatened by this new world of social media. The way I see it is you have 2 choices:

1) You can be upset and moan like many people did when we switched to FLEX MLS
OR
2) You can embrace change, and realize that this medium (social media) is not a fad and is here to stay.

For all of those that choose to do #1, ....... I bet you like FLEX MLS a lot more now that you know how to use it huh.....

I am one still on the sidelines.  Perhaps in time I will get a twitter account.  In the mean time, I'll work with those things that have worked well for me and provided a good income.

I can personally tell you that marketing and online social networking is a MUST! I handle all marketing and client relations for MVP Realty Team! We are a large REO and BULK REO Investment team. Prior to joining this team they were doing the standard... I have a website and that should be good enough! Average sales numbers and average leads. I have grown their web increase by 200%!
