I am going to let you in on a little secret. I have been looking for my Active Rain Profile on the 50 Google pages...Nothing. My IDX site was on page 5 of Google. I started playing around with my Active Rain profile to see if I could even get it in the 50 pages of Google. I added my cities to my introduction...Nothing. I added it many more times to other sections...Nothing. I added my areas to my first and last name field...BINGO. It turns out that these are the KeyWord Meta-Tags that Google uses to see where your profile should be placed. I now fluctuate between page 3 in the morning to the #1 or #2 spot on page 1 by around 3-4pm. This is probably because I post late at night and by the morning the East Coast AR members start reading my Blogs. By late afternoon...I am usually #1 or #2 on page 1. This is just a guess. I will take the #1 spot for half of the day! I will post another tip in the next day or two.
