Using My Blog to Enhance Customer Relationships

We've all been asked to write down some of our examples of Enhancing our Relationships with our Existing and New Clients with our Blogs written here in Active Rain.

Let me tell and show you some of the basic things I do to help Enhance my relationship with Old and New Clients with my Blog Posts Examples

Plus I....

  • send out a snail mail newsletter every month to my past clients that includes a announcement to Read my New Blog Posts with my AR Blog www.victoriarealestatevoice.com
  • I also include this same Blog address on my email signature,web site, business cards and Letter Head and of course all my Blog Post signatures

Now for the Meat of what I first do....I talk to people and show them written examples of my position in Google from my AR Blog Posts, such as Open Houses, New Listings, Photo Tours, all of which end up at the Top of the page in Google with my long descriptive key word heading on my Active Rain Blog posts i.e. Posts headings like "Top floor two bedroom two bath Condo in Victoria BC". or "Two Bedroom and Den waterfront Condo in Victoria "This type of consumer search is very likely and I know who ever enters this discriptive phrase... they are Buying in 30 to 60 days. The Best Part is... I Screen Capture these AR posts with an inexpensive software called SnagIt.  I print and  Highlight them and number their position on the Page, which is usually Number 1, 2, 3  etc on the first page. I them have Printed copies with me to show People. When I show this material at a listing appointment.... people come right out of their chairs for a closer look and say "No Other Realtor has shown them this"...Folks this gets a lot of positive results with New and Past Clients when they are considering listing their home for sale. I spend a fair amount of time discussing how effective this is to get their home exposed to the world 24/7 online. All my Clients the Love to See this type of marketing material, and it is very much part of my listing  presentation material. They all can see how my Internet Blogging works, with my printed AR Blog examples.

Another Example I show Clients is a print out of my first post of a new listing..where I include the street address in the Subject heading...I then have a sign topper on my For Sale sign that says "Google This Address" I have a printout of  a Google post  with the street address and a photo of my sign with a sign topper. This Type of Post get to the Top Of Google Very Quickly...This is another example for clients to see what I do, and they all know the Internet is very important to find Buyers for their home..they realise I have an effective way to expose their homes For Sale online.

Hi Fred!  I really do need to take Bob's challange on and get something written but, I tend to write what I'm thinking about that day and my 'tutorials' generally come from email questions!  So, I don't have any urgent questions at the moment to write about!!  LOL

This post was beautifully done!  No only can you share this with other agents as a 'how-to,' doing some of this in front of your client (when you're at a listing appt) works well too!

I left a lissting presentation during the summer and the seller said, 'You really didn't need any of the nice handouts you gave us--you could have simply said, Google me!'  Of course, that got my mind to going but, I just could never be so bold as to make that my listing presentation!!

Hi Jon...It's good to Show Hard Copy what you do marking online, a View of your online marketing with only using your computer is not lasting.

What we do online to Selling Real Estate, should be part of our listing presentation and marketing.
