Ok folks, its that time of year.  Halloween.  And what a great excuse to start a new "Blog" party group.

Party reviews are coming in: Ruth says: "HOW FUN IS THIS!!!"

Marie says: "Now this is just too much fun!"

A blog party is similar in concept to a progressive dinner party.  Each course is held at someone else's home.  In this case, each day of a party theme will be hosted by the last person to post on each day's party.

So, in the case of this AR Halloween party, the last person to post today will either reblog this party or create their own post and link back to this party.  This will continue until midnight on Halloween.

Its a great viral way to mix things up, do some networking and have fun.

In order to participate, you MUST BRING SOMETHING to the party.  What kind of guests don't contribute to a party?

So, in order to leave a comment, you have to bring something theme related.  In this case, post your halloween pics, pumpkins, costumes, candy, party foods, music, entertainment, be the designated driver, whatever helps a party along.

No goodies to bring, no post.  This is all about getting to know each other and doing some non-business related networking.  (The business will follow).

For clarification:  Don't repost this party unless you are the last one to post tonight by midnight.  The last one to post tonight will be the party host tomorrow.  Then the last to post on tomorrow's party will host the following day.  And so it goes until Halloween!  Sort of like a chain letter, only this one is just for fun!

P.S. Don't forget to join AR Blog Party.    You can throw your own party for what ever reason you like!  Celebrate milestones, Fridays, Closed deals, Holidays, Anniversaries, KWANSA, Saint Swithens day, anything you feel like celebrating and sharing.

My contribution to this party is the pic of one of the Wild Things characters carved into a pumpkin.  Two of my daughters carved this last night.

This is in addition to another pumpkin my youngest drew and carved.  That pic is here:

Cool Pumpkin Carving pics

Come on in, the party is just starting.  Post some good stuff and INVITE YOUR FRIENDS.

Remember, last one to post tonight hosts the party for tomorrow!

PS.

If you have a party you want to start, post it up on the AR Blog Party group and invite your friends!

Karen:  Thanks.  Bring some good party stuff!

BTW, feel free to post links to any of your other posts that may be related to the theme of the party.  If you've already posted pumpkin pics that you kids did or haunted house announcements, feel free.  It is, after all, a party!

It was a stake sandwich.

* Dracula decided he need a dog, which breed did he choose?
A blood hound.

* What would you call the ghost of a door-to-door salesman?
A dead ringer.

* What do skeletons always order at a restaurant?
Spare ribs!

Trick or treat!  I'll be bringing my trusty plastic pumpkin looking basket in order to collect all the goodies everyone else brings.  Does that make me a mooch?

Joe: You certainly know how to bring out the sounds of halloween:  Groans and moans on those jokes!  Thanks for bringing "dead" jokes!

Wanda:  Too bad you're not in yet.  You need to bring something.  Post up what you're brining.  I'm sure it'll be a hit.

Carissa:  Cool, reminds me of when I was a kid.  My friends all had those.  I was a bit more mercenary:  I took a pillowcase.  That way I didn't have to keep coming home to unload!

If we want more folks at this party, somebody will have to nominate it for a feature.  We need more "bodies".

HOW FUN IS THIS!!! Glad I found you!

Okay - if I understand, I can post something else I've already done, right? Here's a link I did the other day that explains how agents can use a "Trunk-or-Treat" theme in their neighborhoods:

http://activerain.com/blogsview/1298866/-trunk-or-treating-

Does that qualify?

Ruth,

Close.  We need party items to go with the other stuff.  You know, pics of food, candy, pumpkins, costumes, jokes, music offerings, drinks, designated driver (if you do that, you gotta show the car).  Or the designated lampshade stand.

So, since your post has a pic of costumes, you gotta post the pic here!!!!!!

And don't forget to invite your friends.

In fact, I just added THE manditory halloween vid to the post: Thriller.  Unfortunately, they've disabled embed, so when you click on it, it takes you to youtube.

THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Now there's a girl who knows how to party.  Thanks Chanda.

Come-on folks, we need more party animals.  I know AR is not all business!

Remember, whoever posts last by midnight has to host the party all day tomorrow.

This keeps rolling until Halloween.

Even though I didn't qualify ... I'm glad we had to post pics, cause otherwise I might not have seen Chanda's pic... which is definately an interesting one. I wonder if they sell that in Colorado??? I'll be checking that out today!!! And we'll be carving pumpkins today, hopefully with pumpkin ale as the prize!

Ruth,

You have an opportunity to still bring something to the party.

And until Marie does pick up the party, we'll continue it here. If she doesn't get to it today, then the last to post here tonight will be the host tomorrow.

Come-on folks, party pics!!!!!!  And please invite your friends to the party.  The more the merrier!  We need hosts!!!!!

Okay... I tried to add a picture... but I'm having "technical difficulties"! Ugh! I hate it when technology gets the best of me! So, I decided to go in and change my profile picture to a halloween picture, and now it looks as if my previous picture on posts is blank??? So, I'm taking a chance here to see if future posts will show my "pumpkin profile", thus qualifying me??? If not, I'm just going to do something I understand... like carving a pumpkin!!!

Ruth:  OK, technical difficults are good enough.  Right up there with the dog ate my homework : )

You're in.  Thanks for the effort and enthusiasm.

Now bring some friends! with pics of party goodies!!!!!

Geeze , I've never had to go to such effort to get people to a party.

Just a bit of frivolity.  Mix things up on AR.  Host your own party if you like, for any reason.
