I’ve Achieved My Goal – Google Page 1!

After 3 months of diligent effort I've finally reached page "1" of Google. A search for "Long Beach Notary," "Long Beach Mobile Notary," "Long Beach Loan Signing Agent," and "90802 Notary" all lead to me, The Document Diva.

When I first created my website I knew nothing about page rank, SEO (search engine optimization), blogging, or anything else that would increase my chances of being found in a web search. But thanks to free profile listing sites, help from Sharon Hassler of GoGetNotary and Hazzaa Kassis of the United Notary Association of America, and the amazing tips offered on ActiveRain, I'm now ranking right up there with the big guys!

This has been a fun and informative learning experience. I'm also seeing an increase in my business, which is what this is all about.

The keywords I've listed are important because when potential clients do a search my profile or website comes up on the 1st page so they're more likely to call me. I'm getting at least two new calls a day.

It's great to see another notary getting great results from studying and implementing SEO.

Your DocDiva website is excellent. Terrific job of writing and catching your most important keywords.

Last year I devoted 200+ hours studying SEO. The results have been fantastic. I consistently get on the first page of Google/Yahoo results at least three times. 90%+ of my non-loan clients find me via Google and Yahoo so I have been able to drop all loan work except Reverse Mortgages for a highly ethical LO in my town.

Real estate agent marketing is very different from notary marketing. Being a successful is all about building personal networks in your community via ActiveRain and in-person networking events. Notaries are more like taxi cab drivers - no one thinks of us until we are needed in 20 minutes. Spending time on SEO pays off far better for notaries than participating in networking events.
