Buyers and sellers will notice some changes when they search homes for sale and other property listings in Mecosta County, Lake County, Osceola County & Newaygo County.
These four counties make up the geographical area of the West Central Association of Realtors known as WCAR. We have just merged our Multiple Listing Service with SWMRIC (swim-rick), the Southwestern Michigan Regional Information Center.
From a single search site, available through many participating real estate offices and agent's web sites, you can now search listings in the following counties:
Allegan, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Hillsdale, Kalamazoo, Lake, Mason, Manistee, Mecosta, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, Ottawa, St. Joseph, Van Buren, and beyond!
Additionally, the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service will also soon be joining SWMRIC, adding the greater Grand Rapids area!
This is great news for realtors helping you with your searches as well, since we will save time by logging into one main listing server to find properties for you.

I wonder if they will lower the fees for the MLS usage? Being the fact so many boards(and areas) are linking up with SWMRIC.
