Washington's News Chiefs of 5 Major Networks take a stand for Fox News!

God is good and the Heroes are starting to take a stand and step up for America and Freedom of the Press.

The Press will take a step to make a comeback in the hearts of the American People. This looks good for the Media that has hit rock bottom lately in the Eyes of America...

We are proud of you for taking a stand and refusing to Interview the Pay Czar unless Fox News was included.

You make us proud one more time in taking a stand for our Freedom...Our forefathers would be proud of your latest stand...

"The Obama administration on Thursday failed in its attempt to exclude Fox News from participating in an interview of an administration official, as Republicans on Capitol Hill stepped up their criticism of the hardball tactics employed by the White House.

The Treasury Department on Thursday tried to make "pay czar" Kenneth Feinberg available for interviews to every member of the network pool except Fox News. The pool is the five-network rotation that for decades has shared the costs and duties of daily coverage of the presidency and other Washington institutions.

But the Washington bureau chiefs of the five TV networks consulted and decided that none of their reporters would interview Feinberg unless Fox News was included. The pool informed Treasury that Fox News, as a member of the network pool, could not be excluded from such interviews under the rules of the pool."

Mary. I've been following this. The administration tried to justify that maneuver by saying that the pool was limited to "news media" in the continuing attempt to marginalize Fox.

It didn't work this time, but they have just started. They are out to destroy the credibility of Fox because it's the only network with the guts to report real news unfavorable to the administration.

Sad, sad.

I saw this on FOX news this morning and their legal counsel suggested that if the other networks had not taken their stance on this boycott, that it would have been a constitutional matter! Glad to see that the "pool" stayed united!

Lenn, THis is sad and won't be the last attempt but I have faith in the American People and I will love watching who and how they are going to protect our Freedom...The bloodline of Freedom runs to strong in the American People for this to work.

I am proud of the Pool! First good press the press has gotten in a long time!

I suggest you go to factcheck.org or mediamatters.org You may have a different opinion of fox "news" after reading their blogs.

Kathleen, I don't want to insult your opinion but those are liberal slanted sites and I will not change my opinion...Fox has spoken out with the truth that was later revealed by the Main Stream Media way ahead of time.

Sorry this is not up for debate just passing on information..I suppose you were for Pelosi destroying all the farmland in the San Joaquin Valley- Our Bread basket of America , a terrible crime funded by her cronies in San Francisco..Now we are all eating produce from South America and we lost our 3rd world source for food to hunger poverty stricken nations. WE had 99% of all the almonds in America grown there. Such a tragedy!

Maybe you should try watching Fox for awhile and you can form your own opinion..THey speak the news fair and balanced like they say!

The arrogance of this administration is unparalleled, I hope that the other news organizations continue to take a free speech stance before it is too late.

Hi, Mary. Score one for the press pool--I hope it continues. Perhaps they realize that they will be next if FOX were to be censored.

factcheckdotorg is run by the Annenberg foundation, the same organization that founded ACORN among other groups. Ummmm, no liberal bias there.

Mary-I think its great that the other networks did the right thing but I get the feeling they did it to talk the obama cartel off the ledge so to speak.

Mary - Great news story, I am glad you did this piece on this. Perhaps, now the main stream media will start reporting the truth without hesitation.

They got caught with their pants down, hopefully they will learn a great lessen.

They can lose their rights as easily as Obama tried to do to Fox News.

I can not wait for more positive news to hit America..These Czars, Socialist and more need to find a new home..People voted them in on change and were clueless about what they voted for and so many still are.

I'm so glad you mentioned the issue of farm lands in CA. I wrote a blog about that. I'm so proud my uncle provided much needed facilities out in the fields for Fox news to broadcast. My family was proud that Sean H was there to expose what is happening to "the lost valley of hope".

Your post could not be more spot on if I took a sharpie and created a dot!!!!

This is the worst thing they have done to us so far that we notice and the most horrific...Check out all our produce in California is from South America either not ripe or rotten picked, rare for USA Produce since Pelosi and Her cronies did their evil dead.

Thanks for the nice comments..We are blessed! hang in there..My comments were tough but true..They will rise their ugly heads but I have become boring to them lately..I did have to flag one several times then he backed off...Just personalities!

I wouldn't expect anything less. Like it or not, we might not agree with one another, but when the ability of one of us to express ourselves is threatened, it does affect all of us. Plus, we need our nemesis to keep one another honest (and entertained).

I think you are right. I think it back fired on the administration and their feeble attempt to control the news actually raised the ire of many. "What will it take?" Enough is enough!

I love the backfire on the Administration. Maybe the other networks have decided that when the pendulum swings back that they don't want to be excluded from the White House.

Mary - I, for one, don't advocate any administration (including this one) to boycott anybody in the Media ... no matter how ridiculous they may be.

Personally, I think Fox is a relevant media source. I also believe they are a right swinging media source. That's fine. They are what they are.

It seems that people with opposing viewpoints are in a flurry to correct this off-beat stuff that doesn't conform with their own political or personal view.

I don't want Fox News running our Country. I want our elected officials to do that honor. I tire of left and right wing extemists because they don't represent what the majority of us want... a peace of mind. Even if the radicals from either side aren't the voice of the people, their voice goes unheard when they continually bash ideologies for the sake of making their points somewhat true.

Conservatives have to look in the mirror. The reflection is what you get.

If there is unfavorable news about this administration, it's reported. You can't be the most popular media source, the most highly rated item, and still question where the "NEWS" comes from. You have your outlet. Use it. Just don't abuse it...

It is unfortunate that your mind is closed to other ideas and thoughts. I have watched fox news and there is nothing balanced about it. However that is my opinion and my only suggestion to you was to seek out other information based on facts.

Mary, The administration is trying to take another "Humana" stand with Fox News. As we know they had to back off of Humana and allow them to communicate with their subscribers.

The fact that the other media outlets are standing up for Fox puts the administration in a precarious position should they continue to try and foster a boycott.

The reason Free Speech is the 1st Amendment - our Founding Fathers made it the highest priority to protect.
