Is technology taking over our personalized services and human contact with our clients?

How much time do we really save with all that technology? Don't get me wrong, I like the convenience and marketing opportunities of the internet, cell phones, e-mail and knowing, that you can be in touch very fast if you need to however, when I went to an association meeting the other day, I did get confused about all that technology offered and tried to figure out where the time saved disappeared to, could not find it, and it did take time to do so.

Now, I have been working on the internet since since 1989 (there was only compuserve and the green monster of a monitor). It is interesting how it evolved. The thing with all those different devises now, don't we loose personal touch with our customers or clients? I still believe that we should take time with them and just have a nice chat? Got 3 listings in one week like that. Well, just a thought from an old timer in the business, but like to hear from the tech wiz agents how it makes them more efficient, I am alway open to learning and adjusting, (keeps me young).

Thanks for reading this.

Have a great techy day.

Hi, Jeanette.  The CyberStars and the Cyber Professionals both work hard to teach high tech with a personal touch.  It's always important to remember what is important.  Taking care of our clients and prospects is, of course, primary.

As an Allen Hainge CyberStar®, I agree with Ken and Mary Deshaies. The majority of our clients come from our websites; however, a blend of high tech and personal touch makes us the "cream of the crop." It's important to stay up-to-date on technology to keep up with our customers.

I totally agree.  It's one thing to stay on top of the "tech" stuff, but a simple phone call can work miracles!

As another of Allen Hainge's CyberStars(R), I have to agree with my learned colleagues.  The best thing about technology from my point of view is it can set you apart from your competition and integrated well can give you much more time for that personal touch.
