I had a great experience in Myrtle Beach this week staging an occupied home for a darling senior couple.  This was a wonderful example of how staging changes people's lives!

The wife is an antique collector, loves her stuff, but understood that if she wanted to sell her house it had to be purged.  She couldn't stop walking around from room to room after my assistant and I were done.  The window treatments are included in the sales price, and some antiques are too fragile to be moved into storage, so I had to work with and around them.  As usual, I'm hoping for a fast sale!

68 agents will be touring the home for a second time after touring it before staging.  I can't wait to hear the comments!

It must be heart breaking for them to pack up all of the treasures.   You did a great job convincing them to do that and gave us a wonderful example of staging.

Great job

Joan -- You did a great job of making that room appear more spacious, light, and airy.  It is so rewarding working people who really need and appreciate our help.

Joan,

WOW!!!  I agree the room looked so dark.  It hardly looks like the same space.  Fantastic job!!!  Those agents are going to be blown away!!!

Very nice work Joan. The home is now very simple and inviting, which is a huge improvement over the chaotic feel in the first photo.

You had your challenges with this one and you did very well.  The overall improvement is a lot more open and spacious and actually shows off the drapes which were obscured in all the clutter before you staged.
