Photos - Fall Colors on Lake Katchewanooka, Ontario

These photos were taken with my old Toshiba 3 mp camera so they're not too sharp but they bring back fond memories of fall in Ontario. I wish I had a better camera back then. My wife used to feed the blue jays, squirrels and chipmunks. The fishing was good too!

Sea to Sky - Muskoka is where all the rich people have cottages :-) It's beautiful country!

Brian - The lake runs from Lakefield to Young's Point, Ontario. It's famous for muskie and bass fishing and is part of the Trent / Severn Waterway with lakes and locks all the way from Lake Simcoe to Lake Ontario. It's beautiful country. Hi Al & Peggy - I grew up in Ontario and my parents always had a cottage. Those drives back and forth to cottage country were a pain but it was worth it when you got there. Yes, I miss it but I love where I am now. You can't beat the beach, sun, sand and bikinis!

Chris - Thank you. We are going to Port Fest today - bath tub races, breast cancer walk, beer, food, crafts and live music. I'll post photos later.

End of summer cruise on the Trent River near Lakefield. The staff of Paris Marine was on board to enjoy dinner and drinks including me.

Anna - We had many family get togethers at the cottage. The Grandkids really liked feeding the chipmunks. I was a "snowbird" for 18 years and then married my wife Marla, who is an American. Now I an a permanant resident.

Steve - I always appreciate your comments.

Wanda - I have become allergic to the cold too. I love going back anytime but winter :-)

Alexander-Slocum - It is beautiful and I used to go snowmobiling and ice skating when I grew up there.

Lee and Carol - Thanks but I wish I had a better camera back then.
