Tropic Thunder filming on Kauai--Extras are needed!

Tropic Thunder

The movie industry is returning to Kauai and will be filming Tropic Thunder, a big budget comedy. Filming is scheduled on Kauai between July and October, 2007 and release to theaters is scheduled for the Summer of 2008.

An open casting call will be held this Saturday, June 23 at the ResortQuest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m and extras are needed. The first hour is reserved for Screen Actors Guild members only. ResortQuest Kauai Beach is the former Marriott Courtyard in Kapaa.

Ah, but the life of a Realtor does not allow for such diversions, at least not this Realtor. Or perhaps it's just that I know where my talents AREN'T. But I do have friends who see this as their big opportunity in life! Will you be coming over to try out tomorrow?
