I am having probems with the magnetic lasso in Photo Shop Elements 7.  I know how to set up it up and use it except for one small problem.  When I get close to the top or the bottom of the screen my curser goes crazy and runs all over the place.  If I zoom out I can make it work but then I can't see the picture.  I have tried zooming in and out while using the magnetic lasso but it makes the curser go wild also.  Any help would be appreciated.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the tolerance setting?

Thanks.  I found a workaround HERE but not quite what I am looking for.  I found that you can use the space bar to pan and move the picture that way.  That works pretty good.
