Getting more bang for your buck. (edit/delete)

Like you, I seem to find myself with less and less time to take care of my business.

Also, like you probably do, I struggle to get my five (minimum) personal notes out each day as well as any "thank you" cards to customers and referral partners.

About a year ago I stumbled across a service that makes this a breeze. It is called Send Out Cards and here is the link.

I don't have to go to the store and search for that special card I just go online to where they have literally thousands of cards on just about every subject.

All I have to do is personalize the card with my message (depending on the package you get you can even have your own handwriting converted to a font) and the next day my card goes out for as little as 64 cents plus postage.

Terry: Not exactly a personal card if it is generated by a machine. May save time, but will likely not have the same effect as a personal, handwritten card. Part of the reason a personal handwritten note is so effective is that the recipient knows you took the time out of your schedule to write them a note.

Hi Terry~ I think it is a good alternative, but the handwritten and hand selected card is even better!

I understand, and you are correct. One of the neat things about this service is that you can actually send in your own hand writing font and use it on your cards!

That won't change the fact that it still comes from somewhere in Utah, but it does make it easier.

Perhaps it would be better as a secondary follow-up rather than an initial.

Anything you can do in this market to get ahead helps a little! Thanks for your imput. I am having good responses to this on the professional as well as the personal level (can't tell you the last time I actually remembered to send the mother-in-law a birthday card, and this has an embedded reminder for that and customers dates of importance as well) and think it has a place in my business.

As you stated effectively, it is NOT a be all end all (sure wish we could find one of those), but in my opinon is a great tool especially given the low cost.
