The concert Friday evening was fantastic and the stage, lights, U2 & Black eyed peas were wonderful. Nu Nu usually doesn't like music sang in English because she is from Burma (Myanmar) and she doesn't understand the language very well. On top of that Nu Nu has never heard of the band U2, but when they started singing a tribute to FREE Burma and Aung San Suu Kyi she became very - very excited.

Here is the song that U2 sang trying to help FREE Aung San Suu Kyi because she has been on House arrest for over 20 years and has now been sent to prison for 5 years because she has been trying to turn Burma (Myanmar) into a Democracy and help free the Burmese from government control.

What a very brave woman, Vegas Bob. I'm glad you pointed me her way, I will do some research now. I'm so glad NuNu and you had fun at the concert.

Great event; Bono and the edge are an amazing show. I saw those guys in a large clam on stage about 15 years ago. I tip my hat to this brave lady.

Thank you very much Sheldon and the reason for my concern is because Nu Nu is from Burma and she still has her daughter, mother and about 200 other relatives living in Burma!

Ron - Hello my far away friend and I hope all is well! Yes U2 has always been into politics and when Nu Nu saw the show and I explained to her what U2 was trying to do she became very excited.

This U2 world concert tour is a huge buzz around the Burmese sector!

What a good cause, Robert...kudos to you for spreading the word. I've loved U2 even before I knew of them donating to all the causes they've been doing these past years (e.g. RED).

I would love to go to live concerts but the price usually turns me off. Same thing with sporting events. So I sit at home, listen to music and watch sports on television, and write checks to various charities throughout the year.
