Gorgeous. Love the light through the colored leaves
Peggy - Thanks. THis is one of my favorites, sent to me by a good friend who lives very close to this spot.
Larry, this looks wonderful. I would just love to wander down that path. Thank you for sharing this.
Kathryn - I agreee with you. This is a really inviting scene.
The trees are perfect for this picture. This looks like a Merrill Osborne shot, and know he lives close to the Natchez Trace.
It is beautiful
I was told that Andrew Jackson (Old Hickory) marched his troops back from the Battle of New Orleans along this trail. The picture is great Larry and reminds me of the Robert Frost poem, "The Road Not Taken".
beautiful picture.. (as I am sure you already know) ... looks like a great walk on a warm fall day :)
Konnie - Some have mentioned that it looks ok.
Mike - You are right about Jackson and his troops
Melissa - Thanks
Larry, what a beautiful and peaceful scene. Who could resist taking a walk among those trees?
It is amazing the amount of traffic that your blog continues to create. Thanks for all of the work that you do at Keller Williams!
Larry.. Looking at this photo makes me want to go for a nice quiet country walk !
Julie - I just want to sell a few houses, and you want to also. I'm sure it's going to happen this year..
Don't know how I missed this Larry. When I saw the pic I knew it was the Trace. Cool☺☺☺
Helping you live your American dream...
I'd love to be living 'out there' in a geeked-out Airstream!
Michael - This is one of the best pictures I've seen of the old trace.
susie - It sounds like the easy life doesn't it.
The Natchez Trace is one of the few places that our Federal Government spent money wisely. It's really beautiful.
