Hi Kimberley,

You have hit the nail on the head. Feng Shui can be a HUGE! bag of worms in the beginning. There are so many schools of Feng Shui out there and when I say schools I mean many styles. This can get quite confusing if you think that all Feng Shui is the same.

When deciding to start on this path it's important to look at the enormous journey in front of you before making any decisions. I do recommend that if you choose not to go on this journey, that real estate professionals at least understand the art and science of Feng Shui. Having a snap shot picture of what it is and is not, is better than not knowing at all. The art and science of Feng Shui will be one of the main contributing factors to home buying in the near future.

Yes, I follow both East/West and Traditional. I do the interior of the home East/West with the floating Bagua and the land (most important) with traditional calculations that focuses on the year of construction. The calculations are very involved and take a lot of time but once you know what you're dealing with and understand what is needed to remedy or enhance these unseen forces, it's worth the time and energy. Plus, your buyers will love you for helping them find their true dream home. Most of my pass feng shui clients have pretty much settled into their new homes with the idea of raising a family. Very few have moved after the first 5 to 7 years.

Keep up the journey my spiritual sister what waits for you around every corner makes it worth the trip!=0)

Is feng shui where we get the word functional? It seems like a match.
