Nature has so many lessons to teach us.  We don't always pay attention to what

she is saying but when we do....we have a chance to share a moment of clarity and

wisdom.  On our excursion through the Grand Rapids area yesterday, we encountered

this maple tree.  How many times have we sped past and not noticed it?

Hundreds, probably.  Why did we notice it yesterday?

It shone out its brilliant yellow light on a rainy day, saying:  Look at me!  In a few days

my golden leaves will be on the ground, so notice me today....right now!

We did. We stopped to take a photo and share it with you.  Each day we have the

opportunity to notice and appreciate the beauty around us.

It took a long time for me to live for just today. Now I have the ability to enjoy the time that I know I will never get back. That tree is absolutely stunning.

Terry, That is drop dead gorgeous.  I LOVE trees and pictures of trees.  We don't have the pretty fall colors here in the Houston area.  Our leaves won't fall until sometime in December but then they just turn brown and fall.  I love having summer most of the year but I do miss the fall colors.
