Inasmuch as our niche is a Nationwide Manufactured Home specialist specializing in engineered certifications, affidavits of affixture, 433A documentation for California residents for foundation installations, retrofits, repairs and inspections in scope we reach beyond local blogging. But we definitely do not dismiss it either. We started on a local level almost 25 years ago but the Internet and blogging, Active Rain in particular, have helped us grow and expand our business Nationwide in just a few short years.

Interestingly, however, even though we don't receive many comments or responses to our posts and are rarely featured with Active Rain we have really optimized our website with incredible success just by continually throwing our tags and phrases out there in everything we do i.e. this comment to you. We pop up number 1 on the first page and sometimes going 10 pages deep with every tag and phrase we use. So I guess it seems to be working for us one way or another.

We presently generate hundreds of hits every week that we would not be generating if it weren't for the optimization that Active Rain has made available to us through its blogging venue. These hits result in dozens of engineered certifications or foundation installation projects for our company which will result in at least a 6 figure addition to our annual revenues and we've only been members since April.

Even though I am a licensed Realtor and thereby an overall fit for the Active Rain venue we are also a General Contractor and licensed Manufactured Home Dealer and Developer in California and licensed Manufactured Home Contractors in Arizona, Florida and Oregon and thus not every Active Rain member is interested in our services so we don't tend to get pulled into the Active Rain in crowd so to speak.

But we're not to worried about our every blog being featured which would be very unrealistic regardless of our niche. Moreover, our goal is to be the Active Rain Manufactured Home guru by just by being persistent and contributing pertinent and useful information regarding our industry that might hit someones hot button in some way at sometime.
