Do you know there is an astounding number of people who never take their boats out of the harbor? They go down there on the weekends and sit on them. But they never go anywhere.

Sharon - You're right ! I've seen a few scenes in Seattle that have similar looking views.

Myrl - The picture looks like a marina I was at in Isleton this past summer. Nice picture.

Hi Mryl, The gray clouds make me think maybe it's not a good day to go out? Very still and peaceful shot, today.

Oh, Myrl, you just made me homesick. I used to do a lot of sailing, but sold both boats a couple years ago and haven't been out, since. :-(

Mary - The clouds were deceiving! It was morning when I took this picture, and they cleared substantially as the day wore on.

Mike - It has been many years since I have sailed too.

Richard - They've taken most of the boats out of the lake near my home already.

Jennifer - I would like to visit more East Coast harbors, and check that out. . .Especially Cape Cod.

Myrl, very nice photo. It is fun to go to the harbors when we are on the coast, they are usually like this one, very picturesque.

I agree with Mary that it might be the calm before a storm. How tranquil; yet I don't think I would venture out with a sky like that, but what do I know being a "landlubber" from the Heartland.

I thought I had been everywhere in California, but I can't remember being to Princeton-by-the-Sea.

Hi Myrl - That's a lot of boats and money tied up there. I can almost hear the rigging slapping against all those masts.
